For a Nairobi-based destination management company built on the simple promise of tailor-made, personal safaris, this recognition carries a meaning far beyond the badge itself: it is an award decided not by a panel of judges, but by the travellers we have had the privilege of hosting.

Tripadvisor evaluates the quality and quantity of verified guest reviews and ratings posted over a full twelve-month period, and only businesses that consistently maintain excellent ratings across that entire window qualify. Winning it twice, in consecutive years, is a pattern — and in 2026, Afrikan Accent Adventures is proud to announce that we have received the Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Award for the second year running. Back-to-back recognition means that across two full years of reviews, through changing seasons, changing travel trends and hundreds of individual journeys, our guests consistently rated their experiences with us among the very best available anywhere on the platform.
– Consistency is the hardest thing to achieve in travel. A single great safari can be the product of good luck — perfect weather, a leopard in a tree at the right moment. Two years of consistently outstanding reviews cannot be luck. It is the result of deliberate, repeatable care: the pre-departure briefings our team sends weeks before guests ever board a flight; the well-maintained safari fleet manned by multilingual, seasoned driver-guides; the local relationships across East and Southern Africa that let us solve problems before guests even notice them; and the personal follow-through from first enquiry to fond farewell.
