I was born and raised in Kenya, where my love for tourism began long before I knew it would become my career. Like many children growing up in rural Kenya, I remember chasing after visitors in passing safari jeeps — a while one hand and two tennis balls in the other — waving excitedly and shouting, "Mzungu, nipee sweet!" ("Hello! Give me a sweet!"). Those childhood moments sparked a curiosity that grew into a lifelong passion for sharing my beautiful country with the world.
That passion carried me from working as a professional safari guide to founding Afrikan Accent Adventures. For me, tourism isn't just a profession — it's in my blood.
Starting this company alongside my partner was a dream come true. We envisioned a safari company built on authenticity, personal connections, and carefully curated experiences that leave lasting memories — one where every guest feels valued, heard, and genuinely cared for.
