Flying SafariFemale Safari Kenya | 8-Day Women-Only Safari from Amboseli to Masai Mara
About this safari
A women-only journey beneath Kilimanjaro and across the Rift Valley, closing with two intimate nights at Zebra River Camp in the Masai Mara, guided entirely by women.
This journey opens the way every one of our women’s itineraries does: a night inside the Wangari Maathai Wing at Sarova Panafric, Kenya’s first hotel wing reserved solely for female guests. Six ensuite rooms, a female-only staff that extends to housekeeping, room service and security, and a space designed around a single idea: that arriving in Nairobi as a woman should feel like arriving somewhere safe, not somewhere you have to be careful.
Your vehicle, your guide and your pace: this journey is built for the solo female traveller or for the women you choose to bring along, entirely yours from start to finish. From Nairobi, the route runs south beneath Kilimanjaro to Amboseli, across the Rift Valley’s lakes, and closes with two intimate nights at Zebra River Camp inside the Masai Mara ecosystem. In Amboseli, you’ll also meet Team Lioness, East Africa’s first all-female wildlife ranger unit, whose patrols protect the very elephant herds you’ll spend two days photographing, one of the most direct, tangible expressions of the theme running through this entire itinerary: women protecting, guiding and shaping this landscape.
