Book – a – seat safari is the simplest way to see Kenya without hiring an entire vehicle or waiting until you’ve talked six friends into it. You book one seat on a departure that’s already scheduled, share the vehicle and the cost with a small group of other travellers, and travel with a professional Kenyan guide.

Afrikan Accent Adventures runs scheduled Book – a – seat safaris from Nairobi to the Masai Mara, Amboseli, Samburu and Lake Nakuru, plus shared road transfers between Kenya’s main towns, parks and airports. Fixed dates. Fixed per-person prices.

What is a Book – a- Seat safari?

Book – a – Seat safari is a scheduled tour that any traveller can book individually, by the seat. Instead of paying for the whole 4×4 and driver-guide yourself, you join a departure with other independent travellers and split the fixed costs between you.

In practice that means:

• You pay a per-person price, not a vehicle price
• Departure dates are published in advance and guaranteed from [X] guests
• Groups are capped at [6] travellers per vehicle, so everyone gets a window seat
• Your park fees, transport, accommodation and listed meals are included
• You keep your independence, you’re simply not paying for empty seats

It is the standard way solo travellers, couples and small parties do Kenya affordably.

Can I join a safari in Kenya as a solo traveller?

Yes! and you won’t be penalized for it. There is no single supplement on our  Book – a- seat departures. You’ll be placed in shared accommodation with a same gender roommate, or you can request a private room for [$ amount depending on the safari] extra per night.

How to book your seat

1. Choose your departure. Browse the 2026/2027 calendar and pick a date and route.
2. Reserve your seat. Book online or message us on WhatsApp — a [30]% deposit confirms it.
3. Get your pack. We send your itinerary, packing list and pick-up details on confirmation.
4. Arrive and travel. We handle logistics, driving and park entry. You handle the camera.

Solo travellers make up roughly 80% of our group departures. Most arrive not knowing anyone and spend the drive back to Nairobi swapping photos and arguing about who spotted the leopard first.
